It has been coldest spring in 100 years. Last week we gotta snow allmost ewery day. But now i finally got my bike out and took smal test ride. New straight bar looks fine to me. My garage is so small so it is difficult to see how it looks when bike is inside. Tomorrow i gonnat drive to work whit my bike jeeeeeeeeeeee.

I see that we bought the same exact turning lights, maybe a scandinavian style Good looking wing!
Winter has been quite long here, too. But it suddenly changed and now we have beautiful sunny days, it's a joy to ride.

Re: GL 1200 cafe (Te Racer) projekt.
Hello all.
I decided to continue my unfinished motorcycle project. Saddle must go and rear guard too. i made a little sketch of what it might look like. I would like a bit more aggressive look. I also decided to paint the parts ( mudguards tank and side covers) properly before puting together. I put pictures when the project progresses

Is that the lower tip of a front fender used as a rear fairing? Looking good.

Re: GL 1200 cafe (Te Racer) projekt.
Yes it is . I lifted it from bin and it looked like nice. But i dont know if it will be the one but something simular. I gotta urethan foam board and carbord classfiber etc etc. I planned to make male mold of urethan board and then female mold of clasfiber and finally the "real one" from glassfiber aswell. Lot of dusty shaping work to come. Starting nex weekend.Easter wrote:Is that the lower tip of a front fender used as a rear fairing? Looking good.
These side covers are so big. I would like to test if 1100 will fitt (minor mods) in 1200 if i find ones to test. other idea is leave side covers off. From the side view it looks quite balance but if u look from back or side angle they are guite clumsy.

New tail is still in procces. in the meantime I did a few other things. I installed a new brake and clutch master cylinders, and new exhaust gasket. Last year the exhaust pipe leaked and gave annoying puf puf sound. I did also new false tank what will be 4 cm bigger in vertical.
