Thanks I will take a look and see what I can find!

I also bought shocks off of eBay that look like the same ones. I like mine, they are adjustable. I feel they are good for the money I spent.

Nice bike - late congrats here on your BOTM!
I used similar shocks as you have and agree that with a little tweaking they're very do-able!

Welp! Like many of you I am seeming to be not quite done with this bike! I was taking off the clip-ons and converting back to drag bars for the bike. (PICS BELOW)

BUT! Midway through putting things back together I came upon a 2009 cbr1000rr front end. Annnnnnd I couldn't resist! I am beginning the process of putting the cbr1000rr front end on the GoldWing! I'll be getting some new powder coated parts, and figuring out a whole mess to this bike! I'll be putting the drag bar set up on the dark-cherry GL1000 that you can see in the background in the pictures above =).
The CBR front end is in GREAT shape, it came with Triple-trees AND Tokico break calipers (gold colored). Keep you all posted with up dates!

I forgot to mention you in the post!
Since Hanselhoff was one of the only other members I've seen do this front end conversion, I contacted him to see about the positives and negatives. He has really helped with just basic questions I had and was a great source to bounce ideas off of. Thanks for the help Hanselhoff!

Anytime man, hopefully me going first and doing some of the trial and error will make this a quick swap for you. Going to be rad
I already know I'll be staying away from the always beautiful spoke rims for the front and to hopefully counter the awkwardness of that, I went ahead and purchased an old Henry Abe 7 star rear rim. It is a 16" measurement compared to the original 17" spoke rim, but we will see what the balance will look like with the upgraded front!
Is the stock CBR wheel the 3 spoke deal? I think that mixing the CBR wheel with a Comstar always looks kinda strange, so that Henry Abe should look good all painted up to match
It IS the three spoke cbr rim! And that was exactly my thoughts on it too! Figured it would look close enough, especially with the brake rotors covering so much space. I'll be assembling a batch of items to go into powder coating soon so they can all be matching
