It was broke when I bought it from the breakers yard. Not changed it yet as I hadn't changed the clutch perch yet. I have now so will fit new levers soon.

Its not a legal requirement in the uk to have the ball on the end of the lever.

I was wondering if you were in the middle of modding them into blade like levers...cut the ball off and file/grind the end toward a point.

Thanks, what do they look like?

Two small 'boxes' bolted back - to - back with short pigtail wires and plugs. I believe the wires on the '83 are red. Can't really miss them...

I round the ends off both levers and file them to a point. I like the way they look.

I stand to be corrected but I think that filing the ends to a point may be cause for a defect ticket in the U.K., it's a definite defect in Australia as the balls are there for pedestrian protection in the event of a collision with one!

I had my exhaust ceramic coated or Ceracote if you call it that.

The full system here in the UK to have done was £140

It looks fantastic but heres some pics for you to judge for yourself.

Got a few new (secondhand) parts to fit recently. I found a set of 39mm CB900F forks in great condition so I bought them and some Yamaha Fazer BlueDot calipers for more stopping power.

Ive already got Wirth progressive springs to fit into them to.

Gonna have to make a bracket to attach calipers to fork legs and Im on the look out for some bigger radius discs that will fit interstate wheels.

I used the recommended ATF fluid. Worked fine.
