If I remember right, it was the battery, and the airbox...but that was a fairly long time ago since I saw under the covers.

Other than the gas tank, nothing. A kick starter can be added to any gl1000 by using the rear cover and such from a 75-77.

I could be wrong, but I assumed Wittmann was wondering about the CX...and I do not think a kicker could be installed on one.

My version of polished comstars on the noname build. A little dusty but Im sure you get the general idea . Yep too much work.......... JB

Hey Guys!... I know, "Long time no post" but while I was pokin around I found this thread... Here is my latest build that I just happened to have polished the Comstars.
Took about 40-45 hours from start to finish I'd guess, but heck, I had nothing better to do... ;)
