Congratulations. A worthy project. You did good!!
Bikes at present:

83 XL 600r with a 2004 XR650L engine
And a slightly worse for the wear BMW GS adventure bike awaiting repair

Very nice work. How patience do you have! I like the water tank, doesn't it change the movement of the cables?

Thank you for choosing my bike for BOTM, and for all of the kind remarks. I apologize for not finishing my write-up, I will try to finish it soon. Until then here are a few pictures of the bike. My awesome wife agreed to take some pictures for me. Enjoy!

Love the fuel tank mod. Makes quite a difference.

Your wife is a good photographer. I take the moment to thanks all of our awesome wives that support us with our big and expensive toys. Some bikers haven't this luck to have a so cool wife to own a good bike

I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering about your ride position. How comfortable is it without Rearsets? I'm about 1/2 way threw a buld that leans to the "sport" side of the GL 1000 and find that I want my feet back a bit. I have a few ideas , but would like to hear your thoughts on this.
