Pulled the trigger on the new spokes and nipples. ouch!!! Going to have to go toss up some more greenhouses!

I Thought about chrome, but figure I'll polish the stainless. More time than money. heheheh It was either chrome and short nipples, or stainless and long..

Thanks Steve! This weekend, while the rest of the world is going to play suck face, I'm hoping to get the rear cover on. I seem to have misplaced my 1200 clutch, so I will need to get another one before I can fully button this up.

Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.
77 WING, 1200 engine with 77 heads, cams, gl1100 foot pegs, Magna V65 front end, 764A carbs, [-gone Suzuki M109 monoshock--, replaced with gl1100 shocks] gl 1200 swing arm, gl1500 final drive, wheel and rear brakes Valkyrie seat, Meanstreak tank, Sportster pipes, Power Arc ignition off crank.

Headers, are you going for 4-4 or 4-2? That engine looks really good, even upside down.

Was this the build you were going to use the Aisin AMR500 supercharger on? One went for a couple hundred on EBay while I was in Mexico.

Richard,
Just a suggestion. On the last starter I overhauled, the long bolts were nasty looking from corrosion, so I cut some alloy tubing and slid them through it.Those tubes could be polished up to match the end caps.
