Brilliant suggestion John. I cleaned them up with steel wool, but I know they will rust up. I really appreciate the idea, thanks!

A small recap of this wheel. I used a 16x3.25 Akront Chrome rim pre drilled with 40 holes. I removed the hub from an 81 Comstar wheel and had an adapter made. Polished up the adapter and drilled the mounting holes. The rotors are from an 83 Aspencade, which is different from the 82 in that 82's have a solid middle, rather than the cage. Using software on the web, I calculated the spoke lengths and ordered a set of spokes and nipples from Bucannon. I plan to run a 16 150/80 tire with tube. I haven't decided on the exact brand yet. Given the frame has had the Hott mod, and the tires/wheels are much smaller than stock, I will likely need to run longer fork tubes in the shocks. I also plan to drill the rotors. The brakes will be dual piston calipers from an 83 Aspencade as well.

Brilliantly blending the loosely laced rotor he smiles, wishing it weren't Winter. ;) (Apologies to Crosby, Stills & Nash.)

Looks sharp, Richard.

I took a day off to chill and work on something other than housework or work. :) I started the mockup on the plenum by making a cardboard mockup. Once I am done with the mockup. I will take it apart and do it up in sheet aluminum.

Here you can see the AMR500 Supercharger sitting on top.

Looks like a tight squeeze in the frame. Looks like fun, too.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.
