id start with a new box that matches the bottom sc and put the intake runners on that box . bov for backfire??? being a wet systym I wouldn't think so. A boost operated flapper like a choke ahead of the air cleaner to slow down incoming air at set psi is what I was thinking. That's the nice part of EFI. Usually a dry systym and then a bov if necessary. A draw thru like yours is easier than a blow thru as the carb doesn't need much work though . They make pressure releases for SC s but to modify yours would cost$$$ and being a wet sytsym wouldn't be advisable as whatever pressure Your are trying to release is going to have fuel in it. Can You say torch?? jb

An FI system on top of the SC is a very interesting thought. Of course a carb is a fraction of the cost.

Agreed on your idea to to size the plenum box to match the bottom of the SC. There seems to be more than enough lateral room across the top of the motor to accommodate this.

Also making the plenum box wider to match the opening of the SC will avoid a tall transition piece keeping the whole assembly from getting too tall.

Asks the guy who titled his build, " The slowest build in the world." But we could use an update. Just kidding Duke.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

The one on the charger came with it and other I got from a friend. He said that it was taken from some GM charger.
I had to make an adapter to fit it right. I looked how Radnakk had made his.
