Re: Down under build
Most Excellent, agree with Sir Roady for the first time (lol). Looks to be a factory wild custom build.

Hah ha to change the wheel is not too bad after you have had the wheel off so many times during the build up. 4 nuts for the seat and 6 nuts for the rear fender plus electrics. 20 mins to get to the wheel

Re: Down under build
Got another job nearly finished. This is version 2 of the front spoiler/ radiator surround. The first version had sides that ran up to the top of the radiator but it was just too boxy for the rest of the bike. So hacked the sides off and moved the spoiler part in 2cm to make it more flush and this is what I ended up with. Still needs to be finished but you get the jist.

Re: Down under build
What is the plan for the front fender, seems like a shorty would work well.

I was thinking a big full fender to match the rear.

Re: Down under build
I'll admit that when I first saw that rear fender in the rough, I couldn't "see" what your vision was. But now, it's exceptional how this bike flows. Outstanding work.

Re: Down under build
I was thinking shorty only for protection, but big full would go way better with the rear in my view as well.robin1731 wrote:Fred Camper wrote:What is the plan for the front fender, seems like a shorty would work well.

Here is my front fender. Its just sitting there and dirty but you get the idea. Tried to match it to the rear fender

Yes it does.sunnbobb wrote:Man, that seat flows well
That front fender isn't bad. But I was thinking even more coverage than that. Even with that one as you look at the whole bike it makes the front wheel look small compared to the rest of the bike. IMO
