Re: Down under build
The front fender is just sitting flat on the wheel in that photo. When it's mounted it will sit higher and look bigger I think. Hopefully that will balance out front and rear fender

Re: Down under build
It's your creation, and it looks great! Real nice use of parts and skills. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

Re: Down under build
I actually never updated this sorry. My Scottish girlfriends had trouble with her visa in Australia so we just had to up and leave. We are now living and working in Korea and will be back after a year. Unfortunately I got 95% finished on the bike. I only have ridden 200m down the road and back, only on a few cylinders, before it went into storage.
So i'm slowly building a few more plans and ideas on the bike to finish it off correctly.

Re: Down under build
One idea was to get a 1983 18 inch front rim to go down from the 19 incher. But its a lot of money for one inch.
Also was trying to find a similar belly pan to this but not having much luck. This one is of a vtx1800 a "possum pusher" they call it but it NLA

Re: Down under build
Well after finishing up my travels and getting a job I now have time to work on the bike again. First thing I've done is to make up a new radiator cover using security door mesh
