Also you can do a search on ebay for cafe gauge and they have some cool faces for cafe. Wish they would of had them back then when I did my gauges, but then I would have had to still had to do some mods to get them to work.

Interesting. I wasn't able to find white gauges from eBay for a GL1000. Did you do a more generic search? Or for a different version of a Honda motorcycle which will find a GoldWing?

I looked on eBay just now, and I couldn't find anything that I KNEW would fit a GL1000. Did you buy another type of instrument face plate, like from another model of Honda, or another model of motorcycle altogether?

What is the chrome filter thing that you've got installed on the bike's right side there by the fuel line?

Ok guys, Here some of the final touches made on the Café. I added the goldwing GL1000 decal and a café decal to indicate what the bike is. I got a lot people asking what kind of bike it was (new Honda or BMW). Not a lot of people here now about café racers or old GL1000 and they really freak when I tell them it’s a Goldwing. Any-hay, also added a fork brace to give it a little more beefy look to her front. Had a brace that was in bad condition were the chrome was pilling off the top and the sides so I painted the bad spots and added a red pin stripe. And last, I also dilled out the baffles to get her to breathe better. Kind of sounds like an old Dune Buggy. :8)

I concur with most everyone else here. I think the Gold and Chrome on the motor looks great. I would paint the tank and panels black and add some more gold and chrome accents. Keep us posted!
