Re: Gold CAFE Update 12/17 (New Pipes)
I'm another one that wasn't too sure about the gold engine, but judging by the finished product it works well. Nice bike, good attention to the details, congrats on BOTM you deserve it.

Thank you, I like to thank the acadamy of GL and all the imput that I got here from others. I have few things that might still do to the bike but I need a warm day to do it (my shop is cold). Also have been putting in alot of hours at work.

Re: Gold CAFE Update 12/17 (New Pipes)
Where did you get the white instrument gauge faces? And how did you install them?
Isn't messing with the odometer illegal or something like that, because there is a way to reset the miles that are shown on the bike?
I really like the white gauges and want to do that myself. Please show me how!!!
Love the bike
Ps. Where did you get the chrome filter on the bike's right side for the overflow hoses?

If you go to the first page of the site and check Shoptalk I think Old Fogey shows how.

I got the white gauge faces from ebay. It comes with instructions but the gas gauge you have to order it separate from the guy and I had to make small cuts with a dremel tool on the back side to open it. Then I pilled the medal back then pull the gauge apart and then follow the same instruction from the speedo & RPM. After that you can put the face of the gauge on some soft wood and tap the medal back that was pulled back.
