looking good. I've been in the powder coating learning curve too. It's messy but a lot of fun.

I ordered the rebuild kits for the master and calipers months ago, finally coated the parts... Wrong kits. Ugh.

My bad, correct kits. One caliper coated and rebuilt, but the other... Piston wont release under 95psi. I built a hotrod toaster oven for baking powder coat: bought ceramic insulation 1/2" thick, made an outer wall for the back, its insulated on 4 sides. Poteniometer was dead, replaced it with a better one. Will top 560f,heats up in 5 minutes. I was given a kitchen oven for the garage, but i dont know squat about AC.

Hey guys,I'm replacing the front fender on my 77 with something that covers more. One idea was a later painted one from 81(?). It needs to clear the stock 19" .redrilling doesn't worry me. I tried finding 10" high mini-apes,but I'm too cheap to pay $140 for Flanders,when emgo sells 8" for around $33. Considering stock later bars ,again from an eighties gl...a bit higher,still 7/8". Give me some input.

If its made for Harleys, its a harley part. Im not putting 1" bars on my bikes. Im more of a Triumph guy, i see many with fatbob tanks and butchered harley wheels cobbled on. Sporty forks. No matter what im building, i repurpose factory parts. Its cheaper and they FIT. Aftermarket stuff is fine, as long as it wasnt made for a Harley. Ive taken enough BS from those arrogant HD people... If i wanted one, id buy one.

Its taking forever to see progress. I had run the front brake hard line through the bars, and many people lost their minds. It'll snap from vibration. If it breaks, you can throw those bars away. Ok, theres some logic to that, so i redid the line. Both ends accept inverted flare nuts. The top connector is IFM to banjo.

Bars with integrated brake pipes is certainly new for me. Looking forward to the final pics. Gloss black on the bucket and bars looking good also.

this is my oven and my bars barely fit in it and as it was I bumped the side of the oven putting them in and rubbed some powder off.
