Maybe just a little too big, but that's just me.

Not just you. ;)

I think smaller and think it would look better on the side covers rather than the faux tank.

It could work better if it was lowered on the tank, maybe do a two-toned paint job for the tank?

Stuck for awhile... Trying -8an aeroquip hose for the fuel hose, but can't make the tight bend between the fuel tank and the shutoff valve. It just kinks. Have to attempt to find a more flexible hose.

I wonder what the Engineers were thinking as they sat around the lunch table and one of them said...
"Hey!, I know out of all the fasteners on the 1984 Standard Goldwing, let's use ONLY 2 M7 x 1.0 Socket Head Cap Screws on the upper tree... Won't that be fun!"

Well Nobody carries 7mm socket head bolts...
Got around it though by drilling and tapping for M8 x 1.0... geesh...

I did get the fuel line sorted out as well... ordered 2 90 degree 1/2" brass elbows.
A few extra hose clamps though...

I painted a Valk that color about a year ago. Love the color but was a bit disappointed that you could only see the glow when in bright sun.
