Lloyd. Welcome from Maine.

Start a build thread over in the Members Restos/projects forum & post up your progress. We'll be eager to follow along - and occasionally offer unsolicited advice that you may or may not care to heed.

I second Gord's comment about ShopTalk. It's a resource that's heaven sent.

And Pidjones is right: You should change the timing belts before you run the bike. The bike has an interference motor, which means a broken belt likely = bent valves, or worse. It's not hard or costly to tackle that job, and it'll get you into working on the bike.

If you put a location in your profile, there you may discover a member nearby who might offer an assist should you need a third eye - or hand.

I'm looking forward to your build thread.
