Hi lately !

Post by nicdes »

Hi,
I'm new to the NGW world since last february.
I already received some great help from this forum but did not take time to introduce myself and my 76 granma.
Let's start to fix this with some pictures ;).
After some electric troubles and head gaskets renewal started in april, she's on the road again.
2 pics after her first ride yesterday :

Thank you all !
As you can see on the pics, the muffler is almost horizontal as it's fixed to the frame thru a kind of fixing lug. Because of that, ground clearance was really catastrophic. The center stand wouldn't stop touch the ground when I lean even in the smallest turn.
So I removed this annoying lug and put the muffler back to its standard ! And the result is a miracle as it's clearly nicer.

interesting color.... it may be your camera, or my computer, but not a stock 76 color, but stock decals..... really nice looking nevertheless, and a apparently good horseshoe muffler...

Is that a 16" rim on the rear? If so, it might add to clearance issues. Looks great, though!
