introducing myself

#1

Post by thirtythreeandathird »

Hoping to contribute to, and learn from the collective knowledge on this web forum.
I am retired, an avid motorcyclist, and pretty handy with a left handed hammer and screwdriver. (-;

I would like to add to an existing discussion regarding the Harbor Freight lift, and post some pictures along with my comments, on repairs I have had to make, after a major structural failure that nearly toppled my bike. (The existing discussion is pretty old, and I know it is considered bad manners to hijack someones forum, so I don't know if I should start a new discussion...what is the appropriate etiquette?

Thanks for reading.

Welcome from Wisconsin. IMhO, adding useful information/ personal experience to an existing thread, no matter how old, makes it easier to find if someone's searching for it, and allows for a more 'balanced' outcome. I'd rather read one discussion with 12 varying opinions than trying to sort through 12 discussions. My 2 cents...

I think it takes 5 posts to be able to post pix, and I'd love to hear your experience with the HF lift.
