Greetings from Albany, New York

#1

Post by dougcbx »

My name is Doug Sack and I have owned a 1979 GL1000 since 1983. I am the second owner of this wonderful machine. I now have approx. 70,000 miles on her and yet she still turns heads while looking like new. I also own a 1982 CBX six cylinder that also looks like new. A couple of 1982 CX 500 Turbos, of which one is a parts bike, and a 2017 CRF25oL Rally. My father owned a Honda dealership that was started in 1968 and sold in 1995. I had worked there as a mechanic summers between college years.I am a retired Medical Technologist and gearhead, grease monkey, motorhead, welder, steel fabricator, autobody repairman etc., quite an interesting mix of professions. I hope to meet similar minded people who I might be able to help.
Thanks for listening, Doug.
