Hello from Estonia

#1

Post by Wingersparty »

Just wanted to say hello. Im a new guy here and a fresh owner of a 1977 GL1000. Planning to restore it to its former glory.
I live in a country where we don't have so many old vintage bikes, mine for example is only one registered GL1000 in here, so my main source for a parts is online. Hoping to get some good contacts, information and help from here.
Hopefully i can share a story of the build along the way.
Im not a mechanic but i can hold a wrench so i think everything is doable if you have the tools, the brain and common sense... And of cource i want to do most by myself because we have 3 months riding season and 9 month building season so i have all the time in a world ha ha.
