New to me 82 GL1100 standard.

Post by stretch160 »

I picked up this beauty a week ago and replaced the timing belts, adjusted the valve lash, and replaced the spark plugs last weekend. I found it at such a bargain that I thought I would flip it in the spring for a nice profit. But the more time I spend on it the more I really like this bike. The simple, solid, elegance just speaks to me in a way most bikes don't. Usually I curse the engineers. I think I may just keep this one.

Thank you. I live right at the foot of the SC mountains. We get enough warm days through the winter that my bikes never go into hibernation.

that's why i love living in california. Aside from all the liberals, wildfires, massive amounts of people, and poor air quality, it's a good place for a biker to live. :| ;)
