Howdy from Tucson

#1

Post by RickInAZ »

Hi, all.

I have taken on a project: I have my brother's '82 GL1100 on my patio, and I am going through it top to bottom. I am impressed by the step-by-step guides on this site, and I am halfway through Roady's carburetor overhaul procedure. While waiting for carb parts to soak, I am opening up the timing covers for the new belts. This is fun!

I've got a couple of questions about what I am seeing, and I'll try to post about them in an appropriate spot. I have already learned a great deal from reading the ShopTalk articles, and I am very encouraged.

Thanks!
Rick
