1977 GL

#1

Post by PETE CEE »

Hello everyone,
I am a new member (joined last year). Forums are something new to me. My latest project bike is finished now and I would like to post some pictures to share and a little about the bike. So here goes!!
This is a 1977 GL. I bought the bike early summer last year for a winter project. The previous owner rode it for a few years then decided to "cafe" the bike. He was able to start the project but could not finish. The bike sat in pieces in his garage. I was able to start working on the bike in December '17. You see the finished bike in the picture. You know what it took -- money and time. Powder coat, paint, parts and lots of labor!!!!
Now it's time for another project. A 1978 GL basket! So, the "77 is for sale to make room for the '78.

Refreshing look. I like it.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.
