Hi There from Indiana
I have been riding since 1973 and have owned a wide variety of brands but predominantly Hondas (CB350, CB750 K3, 1980 CB750F, 1992 VFR750, 2010 VFR1200). I have owned my 1976 GL1000 for about three years but it has been a bit neglected with mu purchase of a 2013 CB1100. I have decide this year she gets some TLC. I am going to rebuild the carbs, install new coils and electronic ignition, refitting a used original exhaust system I found. I may get it painted due to a brake fluid spill on the right shelter side. I haven't yet decided on the original Antares Red or perhaps going to the Sulphur Yellow. I look forward to being on this forum and will probably have lots of questions.
Good to be here.

Re: Hi There from Indiana
Hey, neighbor. I am in SW Ohio and like to ride in IN. Just a different kind of ride if you know where to look. I also have a '76 that shows promise but I have yet to hear it run.
i really like the looks of the CB100. I mystifies me why Honda put such hard seats on them from the factory. Where abouts you located in the Hoosier state?

Re: Hi There from Indiana
I hear you about hard seats. Rode the 1100 2 hours home from the dealer and immediately ordered a Corbin seat. I live in Plymouth Indiana about 20 miles south of Notre Dame. Just a recent transplant from Canada. I do an annual ride with a couple of friends from Ottawa and we now meet in Mansfield Ohio and the journey through Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia.raiddrten wrote:Hey, neighbor. Welcome aboard from near Ft. Wayne. If you know Mansfield you should get to Vintage Days at Mid-Ohio in July. There are always some of us there.
