Also, keep in mind that the Aspencade has the digital gauges, senders and harness. It'll be a bit more trouble to hack that harness into something simpler that'll work with analog gauges. An Interstate or earlier Standard truly would provide an easier platform for accomplishing what you're looking for.

A 1200 Aspy is without a doubt the most difficult 4 cylinder 'wing to get naked.
