New member from Minnesota '78 rescue

#1

Post by MN_Oldwing »

Hello fellow GL owners. I have been given a low mileage 78 that has been sitting for far too long in a garage. My goal is to get it running before winter (get the basic mechanics refurbished) then spend the winter restoring the rest of the cosmetic pieces. With a little help from ngw I have all the confidence I need to get her back on the road in style. I will start a thread with my progress in a day or so. Thanks in advance to this forum and all you enthusiasts for helping us newbies out! This is my first GW and my first restoration on an older bike.
BTW I have the same username on another GW forum in case this looks familiar to some of you.
