New to the Club
Well I bought a 1975 GL1000 today!
It has a Twelfth Dimension La Manta fairing and matching luggage as well as Harley glass packs.
Only 18k on the odometer!
My thoughts are to restore it back to factory condition.
The seller included the original exhaust (which has a hole in it), original manual, Clymers Manual, and tool kit.
So my thoughts are to lose the fairing, luggage, and Harley exhaust.
It needs a new front disc, caliper rebuilds, throttle cable, and clutch. The motor purrs like a kitten though and I can't wait to ride it!
Any idea's and feedback is much appreciated.
