Newbie Here
Hi Newbie here, From Ohio allways loved the old wings currently ride a 2013 gl1800 F6b and have been looking for an old one to do a little restoration on. Found a 1980 gl1100 im going to look at tomorrow it starts and runs current owner says it needs a rear master cylinder. I'm sure it needs more than just that but I'm gonna go take a look, it looks like an interstate has fairing and bags, he is asking $900.00 or BO gonna see what i can buy it for. What is a good price for this? Thanks

Re: Newbie Here
Welcome from Wisconsin. In my area, a 'rider' 1100 that needs work would sell between $500 and $1000, depending on mileage, tires, etc. This time of year, probably on the lower end of that scale. My 2 cents... Good luck!

"Needs rear master cylinder."
Most likely it needs the rear brake cylinder refurbished and the mc is OK.
I have two that were parked by the PO for that same reason and the rotors are scored and the cylinders are frozen on the slide pins.
