Hello from Arkansas
Hello all, I recently acquired an 82 interstate that was in a barn since 2003 and am going to attempt to strip it and make it my own. It is in need of a lot of time and a lil money. I owned an 82 aspencade years ago and loved it but I am going the naked route this time.

Re: Hello from Arkansas
Welcome from Wisconsin! 1100's are my favorites. They are relatively easy to strip, especially if you go with aftermarket headlight and blinkers. Enjoy the ride!

Re: Hello from Arkansas
Thx all, timing belt for sure will be changed. I did hook up a small fuel tank to it to see what headaches I had and it did start so that's a plus. Will need carbs cleaned at a minimum. Other then that time will tell. The fuel tank is a rusty mess and someone removed one front brake caliper and has changed the rear drive and rim, no clue what they replaced it with yet but it is 15 inch with an automobile temporary spare tire so I will have to be very careful to find any other crazy things he may have done.
