see this one for sale in Richmond (about a 100 miles up the road). Been looking for a Dirt Squirt (had one as a kid) but this is close and relatively complete. Crazy following for these things. Even in this shape the asking price is twice what I paid back in the day. It is titled and the guy is asking 1100. I have not made a final decision but I have the ability and the Finance committee blessed it. Knowledge wise my starting point is the ground floor. I have no manuals and really can not remember much about them but there is a good forum and pretty decent parts support. Hmmm what to do...

Had a Dirt Squirt many moons ago. Biggest problem was the lack of power to get through any kind of soft ground. It would get stuck in mud, heavy gravel, sand etc. I found that a 250cc bike was much better suited for my riding. I will say it was very easy to work on.

Yes there is a family based outfit that seems to carry about 90% of the parts.

Yep one of my concerns actually. Dirt Squirt did great back when I was a 100 pound teenager. NOT a 100 pounds any longer lolol lolol lolol lolol lolol

Its bigger brother Road Toad was a 125cc and that did help with the lack of power. I was about weighing in at about 130 when I had mine.

I know but it is a lot cheaper than a sports car lolol lolol lolol lolol It would be a huge hit with my NY Family. All 5 of us kids rode continuously when at our camp. We started with the 80cc Bonanza's then moved up to the 100cc Hodakas.

Actually since I started reading about the Hodaka following I found out that it was the Marquee bike for Vintage days several years before I started going. I have looked at what they had for bikes each year when there and not found what I am looking for "yet".

Going to let this one pass. Too many projects in the shop now sitting idle. Was looking for something to rekindle a bit of enthusiasm and I don't think this will do it. Pretty sure I want to wait for a proper Dirt Squirt.
