I purchased one of this unit last year on the Amazon website. Special price then, $49.99. LOVE IT !!

Spotted the same unit today at $34.96  One day only- Black Friday (November,2022)

edit 11/26: they've extended same pricing through Cyber Monday, as well !

If you want to invest in a higher technology low amperage charger, this would be my choice

Thanks Cliff. In Canada the Black Friday deal on that is $54. Welcome to the Canadian Peso.

They did have a 1 amp one from the same brand with the same features for about $33 Canadian, so I bought that one. It has newer features that my old Schumacher ones don't and I feel they are getting tired after almost 15 years of use.
Current Bikes:

1966 CL77 - Honda 305cc - Dual purpose - "Gentleman's Scrambler" was a period moniker.
1967 CL175K0 - Low production number with #802 engine serial- winter 2019/2020 full restoration.
1972 CB350F - Baby Four with low mileage - Cosmetic refresh to the next level 2021/2022.
1978 CB550K - Very original bike with only 7499 Km. from new - light cleanup and refresh done.
1983 CB1100F - Canadian model - DOHC Supersport in pristine low kilometre condition from new.
1984 GL1200 - Standard model in showroom condition - two owner bike from new.
1984 CX650E - Restored summer 2017 - a rare Eurosport model - excellent one owner bike.

You are very welcome, sir
I wouldn't be so enthusiastic about my Genius 2 charger if it hadn't saved/restored/whatever the Yuasa AGM battery I had installed in trike back in 2019. It hadn't been charged after sitting unused for 2 years. It's surprising to view the charging process voltage cycling/pulsing up and down on both my digital voltmeters as it works.
Makes me wish I still had an analog meter, too.

I was curious, how, in a simple illustration presentation it could be demonstrated how Sulfation in a lead-acid battery would affect the battery's potential.
During my search for understanding how the 5amp version of the NOCO Genius battery charger would "Repair" an internally damaged battery, I found this:
https://no.co/support/sulfation-and-battery-repair-mode
Sulfation's insidious effect is explained directly below the colorized battery illustrations. tumb2

Francis you have to compare apples to apples here. Noco is a premium brand with some extra features. Princess Auto has a .75 amp charger on sale from time to time from China at $6.99.

Not on my wish list. lolol

I understand what you're saying. I did check out Princess auto, it looked about the same but, the feel of it was cheap and it wasn't waterproof.
This is not water resistant but, fully waterproof! It sits under the hood of my GMC year round, goes through the car wash with no problem. Been 3 years now and no problems. I also have 2 batteries in my pickup and it does keep them at full charge all the time.
During the winter months I use a small exterior extension(2 feet) fitted under the hood with quick ties, which I plug the block heater and the maintainer into. So when I plug the truck in at night both the block heater and batt. maintainer are on. My son has one and works perfectly for him also! I got 2 more a short while ago, one for the wing and the other for a gift.
I posted the info for an alternative choice, that's all, also I purchase my batteries from them guys (Yuasa) the prices are always good!
In any case, it's all up to the individual , if they care for this or not :)
Be well
Francis.
