Hi Guys. I am redoing the connectors on my LTD’s and was looking at the Vintage Connections Site.
Can someone recommend what kit or kits I would need to replace all the connectors on the LTD.
I was considering one of the kits that includes the ratchet tool. Would there be any need for the additional ratchet heads? I would also get the extraction tools.
Thank you
Alarmdoc.

Re: Vintage Connection Kits
Kits? No. Individual shells (with connectors) - Yes! Get what you need to replace. Good shells/connections don't need replacement. Maybe cleaning and tightening. Yes, get a good ratcheting crimper (but I don't particularly recommend theirs). I would suggest this crimper: https://electricalconnection.com/index. ... achi-type/ Lewis sells what he uses in the shop and on installs. Draw up a diagram of each connector before you take them off with wire colors (clean the wires off WELL so you can tell what color they really are). I use this extraction tool: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002STTQG/?c ... _lig_dp_it

Re: Vintage Connection Kits
I have bought mostly the wire and 3.5mm male and female single plugs and some of their different black and silver wire tubing for the wiring harness. The quality is very good on their products I found.
Regarding the kits for the multi connector plugs I have no experience there, yet given the quality of the other items I purchased I would expect them to be good.
The multi crimper with changeable heads I found one a while back on Amazon and I have used a few of the dies not just one size. So if you do some wiring work it maybe worth while for the kit. They are not cheap for a decent quality one and because I restore many bikes it made sense for me to invest in the tool from Amazon and the noted items from this seller.
