I don't consider myself old (nearing 70). My body has pains and such, but far from worn out. I do find more tolerance for some nonsense and less for other.

Passed 80 a while back … 350 miles is a good day now … no slabs unless I pooched my schedule staying up too late and drinking too much beer … hey … it happens …

Gord! It seemed incredulous to me you are over 80!! But, my memory reminded me the last time we shook hands was almost 4 years ago at the 2018 Paris Fairgrounds CVMG Rally. I thought my orthopaedic emergency that same weekend was my trike riding 'swan song'. Was fortunate to ride several thousand miles in 2019, maybe 3 or 400 miles before the shutdown in 2020.
Trike mounting and dismounting are very worrisome endeavors now. :(
I am meeting up with my 73 rd birthday this summer.

Just turned 67, but was able to put in 3k miles on the wing in Fla this winter so I'm not slowing down to much! Every time I get on a bike I think to myself "pace yourself, you wanna do this for a long time!"
intrigued by the wail...seduced by the scream.

I had to give up on the clubman bars. My wrists were killing me after a 1/2 hour. I can take almost an hour with the drag bars. Huge improvement there, baby!
Oh, and since I've had the quote in my signature for years now I would just say that time is proving that Phyllis Diller was right.

Ha, I finally got around to building a cafe racer with clipon bars, just like my first bike in '75. I always wanted to build one so here goes...even though the arthritis in my neck will prevent me from riding it. But it's a goal I had to accomplish.

My mom (also 90) says she can't ever slow down, or old age will catch up to her... :-D
