WOW…….I would be concerned after 2 years, if they can still locate the parts in their business. crying1
My chrome guy is about 6 months wait time. He always promises 3 months when I drop the stuff off. lolol

I am after him at that point on a weekly basis for the parts. I find he is an out of sight out of mind vendor that does great work, yet not very organized.

Very nice colour. Going to be stunning! Thought about having some chrome work done on my '85 Limited Edition long term retirement project bike, been 7 years now.

Did I ever mention I hate chrome? It is on parts of this bike where it shouldn't be. In the wheels on the bearing surface was a bad one just to name a couple. I've spent probably 10 hours or more grinding off chrome to make things fit. They put a plug in the front caliper piston area but not on the rear. And the rear is a two piston caliper. Also had to take some off to get the two halves of the rear caliper together. Here are some pics of the progress so far. It "should" go better now. lolol

Owner is supposed to bring out engine chrome today. Hopefully I won't need to work on that too much to make it work. LOL

Gold is definitely a... choice. But you can't argue that it leaves an impact.
1997 Valkyrie- Light Cutomization, but Too Busy Riding
1980 KZ1300- Bike's Haunted
1976 GL1000 (Yellow)- It Runs (Poorly) and Doesn't Leak (Mostly)
1974 Velosolex 3800- Better Than Walking
1972 CB750- Broke the Chain And Ate the Motor
1969 CT90- The Most Fun You Can Have on 90ccs.
1965 CA77 Dream- Needs a Full Teardown, but Complete

All advice I give is only valid until an expert corrects me.

Wouldn't be my choice and I told him that. But, his brother, the original builder in 78 had some gold so he wanted some too. ;)
