They got hangry with each other! No doubt, huh. A couple a months to do all that work to get the bike ready. Would have cost him 3 grand or more in a shop I bet.

Now I feel cheated since our trip yo the Vintage days was put off.
I have a clue though that it would have been tough on me.
Oh well nothing ventured nothing gained.

There was a similar article in a recent Motorcycle Mojo in which the author described travelling from Ontario to the Maratimes with a friend on a barn find 'Wing

I can appreciate their ride. Picked up an '85 Limited Edition for parts couple of years back (no longer have it - sold), sat in the back forty for four years just outside Ottawa. Decided to determine if the engine would start, and to my surprise it did. No parts bike. Had it at my brother's in Larder Lake Ontario. Spent two weeks doing maintenance and such and rode it across Canada to its new home in Victoria. Great ride and BTDT got the T-shirt. VISA, a good roadside assistance package, and game plan are all that is needed. It's character building.
