Shipping a frame from USA to Australia
Any of you good folk know of the best way to ship a frame from USA to Australia?
I've given up on my frame... I've spent stupid money and hours on it to find the thread in swing arm pivot point is cactus, buggered. When I had finished painting my frame and started assembling it... I took it really carefully putting swingarm bolts in... They threaded up easily until last 3rd I guess... Undid them... Did them back up then put the tightness down to paint in threads. So gently kept doing the left hand one up... Took about an hour making sure threads etc were clean... Then working on the bike during the week I found that the plastic frame cap wouldn't go on... Then I've looked and found the bolt is not sitting dead centre. I can see that it's not correct... I've got taps and dies but not that size.
To date.. And you Americans will laugh or cry at this... But I've spent prob 1500 on this frame.. I was ready just to throw the towel in...
Anyways.. Bit off topic there... SHIPPING from USA.... How where and who?

What year bike you working on here? Getting the proper tap might be way cheaper than a frame.
Edit: Ah, found your build thread..you’ve got an 1100. Tap size is M30x1.5.

You are in Perth, western Australia. Try getting in touch with Pedtotq he is a member on here, and is in Perth too.

Here is his thread, if you have a spare couple of weeks look through all the stuff he has done. Very interesting stuff.

Post your listing on USHIP https://www.uship.com/ and seek an international freight forwarder.
Several years ago I needed to ship a Villiers 8E engine to/from England. An international freight forwarder gave me a price that was half of the best price I could find on my own. The shipment went like clockwork including customs clearance.
