I do some support on the Ultimaker Cura forum. There isn't a lot you can do when printing on support. I may have printed that cover with the show side up. That way the screw area would have come out better. TPU is excellent for gaskets. PLA isn't good at all if the parts will see any heat, and that includes inside a car on a hot day. ABS is a pain and gives of foul vapors. PETG is my choice for important stuff.
I think there are 54 printed pieces on this. The RAT will appreciate this one. After falling asleep on the beach and missing numerous strikes I designed this. When a fish hits - the wire (hanging on the right) falls off the fishing reel, trips a infra-red optical switch and turns on a truly obnoxious buzzer. It's all good now. I can even swivel the buzzer to aim at where I've set up camp.
