Always a trade off between power density and energy density with batteries in purely battery powered vehicles. Still, if you plan your trip properly I imagine it is fun. Elec motors usually deliver max torque right from zero rpm.
So off the line should be great. Since I'm an old fogy I don't race, I just putter around.
Cool stuff, but I too am more interested in driving range. Would have to have a loud sound system to simulate loud pipes that save lives, lol.

Clever, but it accentuates the look at I dislike so much. All the bulk right forward and the rear wheel looking like some kind of orphan tagging along behind.

Yeah, why not go hubless on both ends. Would more even that way. IMO

the look really is unusual and sure divides the opinions. But what is interesting is the motor in the rear wheel. and hubble's in both ends would be better for my eyes as well, but it sure will rais the price.

I've met a few that claimed they had been saved by loud pipes but when you hear the whole story there is a huge amount of doubt, especially when they claim the harm would have come from something in front of them while the sound from the pipes is behind them...

I always reply "Loud pipes don't save lives. They just annoy your neighbours and encourage legal restrictions on vehicle modifications."
