It came with one of each. The parts bike came with mags so I took the rear and all the associated parts and mated them to the project bike. I like the looks of spokes but the mags are much easier to maintain. Also the kid liked the mags so that nailed it.

Mounted the new rear master this morning. Will need to lessen the angle just a little to make the plunger go straight into the bore. It works the way it is but I'm not happy with the looks. With company in tow, not much time available till after tomorrow .

Not much happening on this lately. Got the brakes sorted and cleaned about a tablespoon of rust from the starter. Carbs are still off and waiting for the kid to order some tires.

I think he ran his pockets a little dry doing other things. I'm doing a little cosmetic work on the tank while I wait. My riding season is not affected.

I'm running into the same issue with my and Josh's project, except he keeps bugging me to let him take Grumpy for a ride. I feel kind of guilty, but he's got more disposable income than I do, and, usually, more time...

This is a new rider and I'm not letting him out on my bike. His dad has been teaching him on the Intruder I worked on a few months ago. I would like to get this one done and out of my way so I can work on other things.

Doing some cosmetic work on the tank the past few days. Had a big scratch and dent on the side that looked pretty bad. Got it smoothed over and a thick coat of paint is now curing in the sun. I've had pretty good results with rustoleum thinned and sprayed with my HF sprayer. I need to take some more pictures to show the progress.
During all this fun, the house ac took a dump. Condenser fan locked up, capacitor was questionable and blew a fuse. Should be back in business later today.

Hopefully that's all that's wrong with your AC. We had the AC in our house serviced last summer and it cost us $400, most of that was the cost of the freon but it worked great afterwards. No leaks were detected but when we went to use it again a couple of months ago it wasn't pushing any cold air at all and turned out it hardly had any freon in it any more so that $400 we spent last summer literally went poof. Not willing to throw any more money at a 25+ year old system we opted to have both the AC and furnace replaced and that cost us $7k. :(

Paint looks good even though there is no clear and not buffed. Hung the panels just to get a look. Panels are gonna need some attention.
