That hurts my back just looking at it, but that looks like it would be fun to ride at least once. Getting it stopped... well that may be a different matter.

old school. Built and rode even more radical ones back in the day. They actually stopped pretty good.

Yup... that's a BAD lookin' bike.

But a hard tail with not even a sprung seat, my old back wouldn't even last the one ride. :IDTS:

I'ts no bad if you stay below 35, and no potholes. Sprung seats are for sissies. I must say the 7 gears In the timing chest, rigid mounted gets the vibes going.

My son has a similar one. I've ridden it a couple of times. Not for me. Not an ironhead ('88, 2nd year Evo), but still an old beast. Struggles to maintain 70 MPH on the freeway due to gearing - 4 speed. Starts to overheat if run too hard too long. It's an "around town" bike for sure.

I like it, but nothing sounds like a shovel. Changing the front sprocket up a couple of teeth really helps in the gearing on Sporties. 19 tooth for taller gearing.

Old age is killing me. Best gearing fix is going up on the front sprocket to a 19 tooth. I think...lol
