Looks like this “Nikon” would work for my aging body. Just needs a couple of hard bags. Very interesting!

Interesting. I've seen that once before.

But, for my money, I'd rather have a Tilting Motor Works leaning trike kit added to my Gold Wing.

Their design is ingenious. Best of both worlds. The bike still counter steers like a normal two-wheeler. It'll lean over until you scrape the pegs while riding, but no need to hold the bike up at stops or at parking lot speeds below 3 MPH.

More info on web site here: https://www.tiltingmotorworks.com/

Here's a YouTube video of Jay Leno interviewing the inventor and taking a ride on one.

I'll attach a picture of a GL1800 with the kit installed.

Not that I am a fan but I like the looks of that GL a lot better then the Can Am thing. 10 grand plus install puts it right in there with the regular trikes.

In all of the Yamaha Niken videos I've just viewed on Youtube, they all apparently employ a similarly attired rider........
a Star Wars' Storm Trooper. ;)

This video appears to have been presented by Yamaha Marketing personnel, somewhere in Europe?

I think a convertible car would be more appropriate for me if/when I stop riding 'regular' motorbikes.

It is hard to say right now. Watching my Parents they rode for decades and much of their social life was built around that. So when the time came that 2 wheels were no longer realistic they converted to Trikes. They still ride with several groups and it has allowed them to retain their friendships. Dad will be 85 in a couple weeks and to be riding anything is a remarkable accomplishment I think. It is easy for me to say that I will never own one but who knows what the future brings.

I think the idea of the tilting bike is an interesting thought. As a child of a parent that is exhibiting signs of PTSD and possible dimentia, the idea of having a bike that stands up on its own is something we may look at for my Dad.

The 'Stormtrooper' is probably Yamaha's prototype robot. It has been designed to simulate a human rider...
