My thoughts are with you.

I believe you had the resto-mod inline four "Hondacuti" on Kijiji Canada about a year ago. At the time I was blown away by the level of detail on that restoration and the tasteful work that you had done. There are just so many hack jobs out there with guys passing them off as the best ever... yours truly is an amazing feat of both insight and ingenuity.

All the best in your battle ahead.

Oh....my....word! Nick, so sorry to hear this. Crappy news indeed, the worst we (and you too) have seen for a while. But we know you are going to fight it tooth and nail with your attitude. Please keep us up to date with the ongoing treatment whenever you feel strong enough and don't be a stranger after selling the Wing. We are all pulling for you, buddy!

just had a thought. I read an article on Neutron beam therapy just last week; might be something to investigate.

It may be an idea not to rush in and sell the Wing. In my case I would never be able to get another one, once it's gone it's gone! I sold my original 83 when I bought my first house, seemed the right thing to do at the time. With hindsight I would have been able to afford it, but then hindsight is a wonderful thing. Take care and we're all with you.

1985 GL650 Silverwing another mistake, horrible bike
1986 CBX550 Good commuter

Nick, keep that beautiful bike. The notion that you WILL be riding it again will help get you through this. :orange

Wish I had something profound to say but I don't. Many of us have thoughts of you as we all will have to face similar trials in the future. We are all united by our love with motorcycles. At least you are Canadian so have an edge.........
