back in 78 we were on a paddle drive boat in Loch Lomond which had a v-twin drive engine..... you could actually feel the slight surge through every cycle

She is pretty. My friends keep trying to get me to buy a HD. I like the fact that I have a sweet ride that gets tons of compliments and it only cost me about $1200. If I got the HD I could afford, odds are it wouldn't be new and I would end up having to throw money at it all the time like my friends do theirs. New with warranty? Love to do that, but would hate to make the monthly payments. Hope you have a lot of fun with her, she looks like a fine ride.

The Maid Of The Loch still exists. She's been undergoing refurbishment (for a very long time) but supposedly is to be re-floated sometime in 2018.

Sunday I rode it down to Texas, so 200+ miles. Still have to get used to the sweet spot on the clutch and learn how to soften up the rear shocks/springs
