Randakk carb repair kit wanted!

Hi guys!

Someone here has asked me to sort his GL1000 1978 carbs out. First he wanted to buy an unrestored set of 1977 carbs I have for sale but I pointed out the '78s are wrong unless he also changes the cams and advancer!

I need a Randakk repair kit, Randakk is out of stock, I just wondered if anyone has a spare kit they could sell me?

Kind of weird .... but other items appear to be 'in stock' ?
Usually if the website says he's out of stock it just means he's away for a while. He has joined up with a couple of other companies recently so things might be up in the air for a bit ?
I sent him an e mail to ask ....

Here's the response .... 'Not a problem, We just had a gliche in the supplier delivery. All is back to normal. Stock has been replenished.
We apologize for any inconvenience.'

Been considering buying a kit for my 76 and got an email yesterday that they were back in stock... checked the site just now and it still lists them as out of stock. Dunno what to make of it; maybe sold out again in less than 12 hours

I can't order it as the add to cart thing is disabled due to being flagged 'out of stock'!

I got him through the 'customer response' tab on his newsletter, had to dig around a bit and the site won't let me copy a link.

That's why it's always best to go directly to the source with any questions.

I also went to order a couple sets early this morning. Out of stock. Sent them a message through contact info. Go the message back later today about the one part and being back in stock yet today or tomorrow. I'll try again later tonight or in the morning.

No confusion. This is the busy season and the kits have simply been "out of stock" due to demand.

A necessary component arrived today, so the kits will be available by tomorrow I'm told.
