That's a pretty ambiguous question there. You might want to tighten it up.

The entire assembly? The bulb? Crossover to what? You just want something that just fits or an OEM looking aftermarket unit?

Or are you looking for the actual part number?

I'd just pull the old bulb out and walk into an automotive store. Nothing special about the bulb really. You just want to match the base and make sure it's a high/low bulb. Halogen preferably. IIRC they're H4. Should be an assortment of matches there.

Unless you're going for authenticity, I'd make the switch over to a lens and bulb. Actually, I switched all the way over to an HID for low beam and some PIAA driving lamps for high. Can't have enough light in my book and the lighting systems from 30 years ago are just no where near what can be done today.

I keep hearing about this need for more, and more light on the road, but no one seems to care about what it does to on coming traffic. Agreed that proper adjustment might help, but most are not. More and more I'm blinded by on coming traffic with super bright lights. I see the advantage from behind the lights....but not so much when they're coming at you

I agree with that and it is a challenge to get an HID in a non-HID lens to keep the light low due to scatter. To make sure I wasn't an overt offender I tailed my brother at night and asked him if my light was too much - he didn't think so. Also, when I turn on the driving lamps I can definitely see light being sent higher and further down the road. I'd be worried if I couldn't tell there was a difference. The HID is definitely brighter than the halogen PIAAs, the trick is to keep 90% of it pointed down so it's not directly in the eyes of oncoming traffic.

With brighter lights comes a stronger imperative to have them adjusted properly.
