yep some nice rigging my kinda stuff to use ....ive had my 83 interstate dress totally off the ground to work on ... big difference if something falls strait down as oppose to over sideways ..creating huge danger zone ... and if its divided up in hanging possitins its really not likely both fail at once ... to me what looks the the most dangerous is really the safest by far .... but ive worked with this kind of tech in the extreme forms as there is ....sky hooking is king in my book to get access and safety

HF should talk to their lawyers again and ask them what will it cost us for a class action suit! The real question is is this lift going to kill someone, after reading this from start to finish I think the answer is yes it will. My solution to this would have been take it back get a refund and buy some where else. HFs only interest is buy for 10 cents sell for for a dollar.

Luckily no we don't, but saying that we still get a lot of stuff (chineese) that HF sells get's sold over here too. Some Chinese stuff is quality but as has been said earlier they make stuff for a price. Their quality stuff is as good as anyone elses American or British, it just depends on who the customer is and what they want to pay for a product. There is good and bad from all over the world, it's just a shame that the bad stuff that gets sold can sometimes kill. We have a saying here "you pays your money and you takes your choice".

I am about to buy a diagnostics for my Mercedes Benz, the real deal costs about £1500 so in Dollars ?? maybe 2 grand, they are made in China and you can buy the same multiplexer and software for $223 posted. I have seen the MB ones in the dealers, the multiplexers are made in China. So for me no brainer. Sometime I wish I lived in the states as so much stuff there is soo much cheaper than here. :crosso Ian

i think you are correct. china sends more stuff to the US then it does to the united kingdom   but we live in a world economy. with the internet at everyones finger tips, its easy to shop the world, but hard to evaluate the quality of the products.

That is why we frequent sites like this and appreciate input from Placerville and the rest of you. Unfortunately things change so rapidly now. What's a good deal at a store today is downgraded to junk tomorrow.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.
