My not often used pickup is in rough shape due to condensation in the gas tank.
We have wild temperature swings here.

Perhaps all gas tanks should have drain plugs like the crankcases. With ethanol
everywhere, seems periodic draining is a solution. Dumped some StarTron in.
Claims to prevent phase separation.

Will see if it does anything to help.

About the same as we have here ;)

GL1000s have drain plugs. I was surprised when the 1100 didn't but I can siphon it dry by connecting a line with a snowmobile primer bulb to the petcock.

It's easier when the tank is in the "normal" position (above the engine where it raises the centre of gravity) and you can just disconnect the fuel line and open the petcock, though.
