Could it possibly be something in the jets getting to much fuel

It is highly unlikely that jets have anything to do with this issue. Can you make a short video so we can hear it run? Backfires are serious and indicates you have something wrong related to timing. Did you do what I asked about checking to see if the valves go up and down while slowly turning the crank.

No I haven't yet. Haven't had a chance to go back out there an work on it bit that will be the next thing I do is take the valve covers off an rotate the motor

So far all the valves on both sides go up an down

Backfiring is not at all similar to the original subject of this other member's Topic.

recommendation... start your own motorcycle problem thread with the Backfiring video now. Please.

Get individual compression test results to include there, too. Throttle wide open. Choke off.
