Chain orifice removal?

Chain orifice removal?
Hi, I was trying to remove the chain orifice, the shiny thing just below the oil supply nozzle on the GL1000 (part # 15530-371-000). On some videos I noted it was being reinstalled with a screw driver, but the hole at the top of the chain orifice is round? Any idea how these are removed? Thanks...

Been a few years since I have had one down that far and I just can not remember what I did there.

I have a couple of bare blocks, and wwill look later, but I seem t recall it just pulls out.

+1 on the above as age and that O ring is likely holding it in there. If the O ring is available then some penetrating fluid and a little heat from a hair dryer, or heat gun should have it pull out easier.
Definitely worth clearing out the orifice and the oil supply passage.

OK, I'll try some penetrating oil before reaching in with a long-nose plier, just worried about damaging it, but I'll let you know...Thanks to all for the info.

I finally managed to get the oil orifice out! There's no place to grab onto it so long-nose pliers were out. I found a Phillips head screwdriver just slightly smaller than the opening at the top of the orifice. I wrapped the head of the screwdriver with several loops of black electric tape. I then pushed the head of the screwdriver into the orifice, turned the screwdriver a few times so that it fit into the orifice like a plug, and it pulled right out. It was so easy it actually surprised me to see the thing at the end of the screwdriver. I'm almost done emptying out the case, one more bearing to pull out....

Oh, and no need for penetrating oil. The small o-ring on the orifice is still available so might as well replace that in a rebuild....
