Faux tank gasket?
So in painting my tank shelter, I tore up that seal for the clamshell halves. For the life of me I cannot find it anywhere, does anybody know the part number? Or how to deal with it? For now I just used window weather stripping, but looks kind of fugly in my opinion. for clarification, I'm talking about that seal that goes all the way around the locking parts of the shelter, not those little short pieces for the halves.

So the partzilla fiche (fiches are invaluable info) I am thinking you are looking at item 16 part # 83127-463-000. The fiche is at:https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/honda ... ng/shelter
You might try entering that part # in Ebay? Just a suggestion.

If you can't find an OEM (probably rare) or a used (hard to remove without ruining) replacement, it may be worth finding the replacement frame with an intact seal instead. They probably come up a bit more often, and all you'd have to do is unbolt and transfer over all your shelter panels.
It's what I had to end up doing when I redid my 1200 Standard.

Or a new shelter.
If I recall right it was a pita to remove the frame from the abs sides. they were riveted on and a couple were very difficult to get to.
I think I'd go to another source and find some weather stripping that would work. Like maybe a sheet of something you could cut out the shape and stick (glue) it in there. You only see it when you are pumping gas. After awhile you won't see it - unless you want to. Been there done that more than once.
That said, there is still stuff that bugs me that I didn't get right, couldn't get right etc. etc.
