rear caliper piston removal

Rebuilding the rear brakes on my 78 I got the piston removed on the bleed niple side with a grease gun, how do I get the other one out?

I think I used air, split the caliper apart, then you should have access to fluid passage.

Pretty sure I used air for all my disassembly, been s while a d they weren't really crusty.
78 gl1000 rat project thingy...still under construction
76 gl1000 parts for 78? Trying to get running...

Air is usually sufficient unless there are REALLY wedged in there. Grease gun is definitely a "when all else fails" solution.

Clean the first piston up a bit and push it back in slightly. Put in a block to stop the first one and pump out the second one with more grease. Should be able to get them both out now for a full cleanup of the caliper. Works for me.

The one is really stuck, tried a block of wood and some grease came free a little but pushed the other back in , gonna try a c clamp on the one that was out and try and force the other out
